To ensure that you find the right accessories for your Kärcher hobby vacuum cleaner or your Kärcher commercial vacuum cleaner , we have summarized all the important information about the connections for you here.
The bayonet system only applies to Kärcher NT models of the Professional series .
Our accessories are designed for the classic pipe connection (diameter) and do not require clip systems .
Compatibility across the nominal diameter is therefore guaranteed regardless of the clip system.

Bayonet systems (NT series / Professional only)
Bayonet 1.0
- For Kärcher NT vacuum cleaners up to model year 2016.
- Hoses with bayonet 1.0 are not directly compatible with models from 2017 onwards, for which the new bayonet 2.0 connection is intended.
- An adapter is available from Kärcher (part number: 5.031-436.0 ).
- Identifying feature: The connector has a cam .
Bayonet 2.0
- For Kärcher NT vacuum cleaners from model year 2017.
- More stable, optimized version of the bayonet connection.
- Identifying feature: The connector has three cams .
The bayonet system only applies to Kärcher NT models of the Professional series .
Click connection (Home & Garden wet/dry vacuum cleaner)
- Used in all Kärcher Home & Garden wet/dry vacuum cleaners
(A- / K- / KNT- / KWD- / MV- and WD series). - Connection directly to the device via simple snap-in (“click”) without any turning movement.
- Compatible with our range of accessories for Home & Garden models.
Clip systems (for connecting hoses and accessories)
Clip 1.0
- Suitable for Kärcher vacuum cleaners built up to 2016.
- Used for connecting the suction hose to the suction pipe or floor nozzle.
Clip 2.0
- Suitable for Kärcher vacuum cleaners from model year 2017.
- Improved version with optimized seal.
