Installation instructions HEPA filter set for all Miele vacuum cleaners with vacuum cleaner bags
Current Miele vacuum cleaners with vacuum cleaner bags can be operated with either a simple exhaust filter or a high-performance hygiene filter (HEPA filter).
The HEPA filter prevents fine particles, bacteria and allergens from being released back into the room with the exhaust air.

You can find the correct procedure for replacing the filter in the operating instructions for your vacuum cleaner model.
If a simple exhaust filter was previously installed in your vacuum cleaner, the best way to do this is as follows:
Remove the black filter cover (plastic grid), this is not needed to fix the Hepa filter.
The old filter fleece and replace it with the HEPA filter as illustrated and described in your user manual.
Please note that the HEPA filter is higher than the simple exhaust filter.
